Eighteen tornadoes in Wisconsin were documented by the National Weather Services (NWS).  Five spun up in central and northeast Wisconsin on June 7, including an EF3 tornado that followed a 40 miles track in Shawano, Menominee, Langlade and Oconto Counties.  All ten buildings on the Bear Paw Outdoor Adventure Resort in Langlade County were either damaged or destroyed by an EF2 tornado.  In addition, over 40 homes and businesses in Riverview in Oconto County were damaged or destroyed including the Riverview Fire Department when a twister hit that community.

In 2006, the National Weather Service recorded 13 tornadoes that touched down in the state.

In 2005, Wisconsin had a record 62 tornadoes reported, including 27 that occured on August 18, 2005.
