Exercise & TrainingWisconsin Emergency Management's Exercise & Training Programs provide first responders, volunteers, elected officials, emergency managers and others a chance to develop the skills necessary to protect lives and property during a catastrophic event. This is accomplished by providing all-hazards training that emphasizes the importance of preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation in emergency management. The goal of the Exercise Program is improve the overall readiness and capabilities of emergency response by testing emergency plans and procedures to reveal strengths and weaknesses, demonstrate operational capabilities, and to prepare personnel for real events.
